As we create a new era of public media, we are delighted that these leaders are joining us in this important work.”

As one of the nation’s leading public media organizations, new trustees will help MPR | APM further its mission to “create the future of public media by amplifying voices to inform, include and inspire." The search called for individuals who can help the organization grow, innovate and stay connected with communities it serves – both in Minnesota and nationwide.

"As a current MPR Trustee, I couldn’t be more excited to welcome these remarkable new trustees to our team,” said Julie Causey, Governance Committee Chair and leader of the Trustee search process. “Each of these individuals has a passion for public media and public service, and I look forward to the fresh energy, innovation and collaboration these individuals will bring to our board.”

Along with the new trustees, the MPR Board also elected its new Board Chair, Libby Hlavka. Hlavka joined the MPR Board of Trustees in 2017 and succeeds Bryan Phillips, who will now serve as Vice Chair.
