MPR News will broadcast two live debates this month for offices at the top of November’s ballot across Minnesota.
On Friday, October 14, Mike Mulcahy will moderate a debate between DFL Attorney General Keith Ellison and his Republican challenger Jim Schultz. You’ll hear the debate live starting at noon on MPR News.
Then on Friday, October 28, at noon, Mike Mulcahy will moderate a gubernatorial debate. DFL Governor Tim Walz will debate his Republican challenger, Dr. Scott Jensen, live on MPR News.

Indigenous Peoples Day, observed the second Monday of October in the United States, commemorates Native American history and culture in all forms.
The holiday is an opportunity to celebrate the rich and nuanced musical legacies of Indigenous people.
