About Converge Media:

Converge Radio - formerly Blugold Radio - hit the airwaves in the summer of 2016 - shining a spotlight on local, regional, and indie music. In 2018, we became Converge Radio, a name we felt truly represented our mission: creating a “place to come together” around music and the arts. In early 2021, we decided to stop messing around and put a ring on it – Valley Media Works and Converge Radio merged, forming what is now known as Converge Media - a collaboration between local public access and local radio. Converge Media is here to stay as the place where art, music, and community meet- a non-profit, independent radio station held together by community volunteers and a love for all things Chippewa Valley.
