About The Moth
The Moth - hailed as "New York's hottest and hippest literary ticket" by The Wall Street Journal - is an acclaimed not-for-profit organization dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling. The Moth has presented more than three thousand stories, told live and without notes, by people from all walks of life to standing room only crowds worldwide. Each Moth Mainstage features simple, old-fashioned storytelling, by five widely divergent raconteurs who develop and shape their stories with The Moth's directors. The Moth has a local chapter which presents a Story Slam event the last Wednesday of every month at the Amsterdam Bar and Hall in downtown St. Paul. You can listen to The Moth Radio Hour every Sunday at 10 p.m. on MPR news stations, including KNOW 91.1 FM in the Twin Cities and online at mprnews.org.
