89.3 The Current and the Citizens League Present "Policy and a Pint: Telecommuting and The Future of Working" July 12 at the Varsity Theater
Jul 7, 2011
WHAT: Technology has plugged us in wherever we are, to the point where we can put a presentation together at the breakfast table and participate in a teleconference on the way to the grocery store. Could working from home be the way of the future?
Join 89.3 The Current's Steve Seel for the next Policy and a Pint: Telecommuting and the Future of Working. The discussion will focus on how telecommuting is turning the idea of the five-day work week at the office upside down. Seel will be joined by Frank Douma, associate director of the state and local policy program at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Research Scholar at the Center for Transportation Studies, both located at the University of Minnesota.
