This summer, Dan spent eight days on the ground in Ely covering the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) wildfires, filing a dozen stories as events unfolded. Hear firsthand what it was like to drop everything, drive two hours not knowing when he'd return, and report on a rapidly changing story as it unfolded. Following a short conversation, there will be time for audience questions and discussion.
