Politics Friday: U.S. House Congressional District 2 Debate

October 9, 2026, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

On Friday, Oct. 9 at noon, DFL nominee Matt Little and Republican nominee Eric Pratt will debate as part of MPR News' "Politics Friday." MPR News' reporter Catharine Richert will moderate the debate.

Matt Little and Eric Pratt are candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives Congressional District 2, which is open because Rep. Angie Craig didn't seek reelection to the seat.

The district covers Dakota County, Scott County, and Le Sueur County, as well as parts of Rice County and Washington County.
