Host and financial literacy advocate Yanely Espinal is back for Season 2 to talk with some really smart people — influencers, college students and experts.

Hmong New Year a chance to uplift past and future

Traditionally meant to celebrate the end of harvest in southeast Asia, Hmong New Year is now a way to celebrate Hmong heritage and uplift new generations.
People of all ages came dressed in traditional clothing for the festivities, which included food, various competitions and a range of Hmong vendors.

Minnesotans hoping to influence the look of their new state flag like their stars and their loons — lots and lots of loons. There are loony ideas, too, including a pitch with a hot dish at the fore.
The State Emblems Redesign Commission unfurled what could be Minnesota's biggest art critique in history by publishing more than 2,100 proposed flag designs sent in by the public.
