Nick Kereakos

Nick Kereakos was Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer. In this capacity he oversaw APMG’s Technology Division providing leadership for Broadcast and Media Operations, Digital Products, Information Technology, Broadcast Engineering, Media Technology, production facilities and content distribution across the organization. APMG’s Technology division provides leadership and production support for American Public Media, Minnesota Public Radio, and Southern California Public Radio. Previously, Nick was General Manager of Minnesota Public Radio’s regional services, providing leadership for MPR News, The Current, and Classical MPR. Kereakos also led APM’s national Classical programming, including programs such as Performance Today and Classical 24, as well as YourClassical.org, and other digital programming. Kereakos has also served as VP of Music services, VP of Broadcast Operations, and led the Technical Distribution of APM’s national programming including Marketplace, BBC World Service, A Prairie Home Companion, and others. Nick has also served as Senior Audio Producer of the Minnesota Orchestra national broadcast series, The Splendid Table®, Sound Money®, and MPR’s regional broadcasts of the Minnesota Opera. Kereakos served for six years on the National Public Radio Board, Distribution and Interconnect Committee, and currently serves on the advisory council of the non-comm Music Alliance. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and a fellowship alumnus of the Aspen Music Festival and School in Aspen, Colorado.
