Nii-Ayite Quaye Elected to MPR Board of Trustees

Minnesota Public Radio recently elected Pentair executive Nii-Ayite Quaye to its board of trustees. Quaye has been vice president, mergers and acquisitions at Pentair since 2011.

Before joining Pentair, Quaye worked at ADC Telecommunications from 2000 to 2010. He was ADC's vice president for corporate development with responsibility for strategy and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that he was vice president and general manager of ADC's businesses in China. Previously, Quaye served in leadership roles for Cargill Inc.'s Strategy and Business Development Group. He has also held financial and marketing positions at Guidant/CRM.

"Nii is a dynamic and resourceful leader and we are delighted to welcome him to the board," said Brad Anderson, chair of the Minnesota Public Radio board of trustees. "His deep experience in emerging global markets and business development, and his strong ability to build strategic relationships, are tremendous assets to our growing organization."

Quaye holds a B.A. in business administration from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kan. (1990) and an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management (1992). He has been a member of MPR since 2001.
