The Singers: My Soul's Repose
The Singers invite you to experience heart-rending music of loss, grief, and the strength to live on. Dale Trumbore’s "How to Go On" uses poetry of Barbara Crooker, Amy Fleury, and Laura Foley to create a poignant, secular Requiem. Eric Whitacre’s "When David Heard," a work that leaves listeners breathless, was composed for a friend following the sudden and tragic loss of a son. This program is a testament to the healing powers of music and the human voice.
