Notice to our Live 2 listeners

To better serve our Web audiences, Minnesota Public Radio has made some changes to our live audio streaming services. At the end of June, MPR concluded its dedicated classical music "Live 2" stream. This change enables MPR to focus on improvements to our archived, audio-on-demand services and on Web programming that can offer more opportunities for your interaction.

There's good news if you're a fan of A Prairie Home Companion—we're offering a more robust, higher-fidelity Web stream for the Saturday show beginning in July.

If you've listened to classical music on Live 2, we encourage you to check out our Pipedreams and Saint Paul Sunday Web sites, where you can listen to a new music program each week and explore the archived broadcasts from these popular programs. On MPR's music home page you'll find a number of listening gems including Composer's Datebook, which offers a stimulating new bit of music every day. You may also want to try the music and news programming on Live 1 every weekday morning.

Thanks for listening to Live 2, and a special thanks for your encouragement and support of the service over the past months. We look forward to continuing and improving our Web services for you!
