 About Connie Evingson and Mary Louise Knutson

Connie Evingson CDTalking Volumes is pleased to announce that vocalist Connie Evingson and piano player Mary Louise Knutson will perform before and after Salman Rushdie's Talking Volumes appearance on October 2, 2002. Evingson will perform "Over the Rainbow," from The Wizard of Oz, the subject of the first essay in Rushdie's book.

Mary Louise Knutson CDEvingson and Knutson are both based in Minneapolis. Evingson is the creator of the original stage production Fever: A Tribute to Peggy Lee, which she has performed in Minneapolis and Seattle and excerpted at New York's Town Hall. Knutson's debut jazz trio CD, Call Me When You Get There, charted in the Top 50 in the United States and Canada for eight consecutive weeks following its release.
