- Chief Digital Officer and Vice President for Innovation and Digital Strategy and Content
Mike Reszler is the Chief Digital Officer and Vice President for Innovation and Digital Strategy and Content for MPR|APM. He is responsible for APM's Public Insight Network (PIN), as well as for all APM digital programming, content and product development. He relishes the opportunity to work where news and culture intersect with power of the Internet. In addition, he oversees our national arts and ideas radio and digital programming.
Reszler joined MPR in November 2007 as the Managing Editor for Online News and covered the 2008 election as well as the Republican National Convention. In 2008, he was promoted to Managing Director of Digital Strategy and Content for MPR|APM.
A native of Aberdeen, South Dakota, Reszler earned his B.A. from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, his M.A. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and is A.B.D. in history from Claremont Graduate School.
He is a two-time recipient of Knight Ridder Digital's "Above and Beyond" award as well as the 2006 recipient of the Knight Ridder Corporate Excellence Award. In addition, he coordinated Knight Ridder's and the Biloxi Sun Herald's online coverage of Hurricane Katrina, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service among other awards.
He currently resides in Minneapolis and enjoys going to movies and live theater, reading, and participating in church and community activities outside of work.
